How to adjust the flame of CNC flame plasma cutting machine

The CNC plasma flame cutting machine is a device that can perform precision cutting on metal materials such as steel plates. It has two cutting methods, one is flame cutting and the other is plasma cutting. Flame cutting is suitable for thicker carbon steel, while plasma cutting is suitable for thinner stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. Today I will talk to you about how to adjust the fire.

The purpose of adjusting the flame is to achieve the optimal temperature and shape for cutting flat, smooth, and burr free cuts. The steps for adjusting the fire are as follows:

1. Open the oxygen valve and acetylene valve, ignite the flame, and observe the color and length of the flame. If the flame is yellow or orange, it indicates insufficient oxygen and requires an increase in oxygen flow rate; If the flame is white or blue, it indicates that there is too much oxygen and the oxygen flow rate needs to be reduced. Adjust the oxygen valve to make the flame appear light blue.

2. Observe whether there are obvious conical areas inside the flame. If there is no conical area, it indicates insufficient acetylene and an increase in acetylene flow rate is required; If the conical area is too long or too short, it indicates that there is too much or too little acetylene, and the acetylene flow rate needs to be reduced or increased. Adjust the acetylene valve to make the length of the conical area about 2-3 centimeters.

3. Observe whether there are sharp tips in the conical area. If there is no tip, it indicates that the mixture is uneven and the mixer needs to be adjusted; If the tip is too long or too short, it indicates that the mixture is too rich or too thin, and the mixer needs to be adjusted. Adjust the mixer to a tip length of approximately 0.5-1 centimeter.

4. Observe whether the flame is stable, free of noise, and has no tempering phenomenon. If there are any abnormal situations, the valves and mixer need to be readjusted until the flame is normal.
